Sydney Cone is an associate in the Labor & Employment Law Department and a member of the Employment Litigation & Arbitration Group.
During her time at Proskauer, Sydney has focused on a wide range of employment matters, including employment discrimination litigation, non-compete & trade secrets, and policies, handbooks and training, among others.
Sydney has gained experience across a wide variety of industries including financial services, consumer goods, and media and entertainment. Sydney has assisted in investigations and counseling related to workplace harassment, discrimination, and retaliation, including advising clients on non-compete agreements and employee terminations. In addition to Sydney’s litigation practice, Sydney has experience assisting on transactional matters that involve a myriad of labor and employment issues. Sydney earned her J.D. cum laude from Tulane University Law School, where she was the Senior Online Editor of the Tulane Maritime Law Journal, a Legal Research and Writing Fellow, and co-president of Tulane Women in the Law.
Prior to law school, Sydney was a paralegal at a white-collar criminal and civil litigation law firm and worked in the family law unit at a legal aid organization.
